Yes, Boulder Hwy has liquor stores, weekly motels, and possibly ladies of the night. ![]() You know, you can also take the bus easily to North Las Vegas and hit some more of my favorite casinos: Jerry's Nugget, Bighorn, and Poker Palace. It will take you a little while to get out to Railroad Pass. The BHX runs from downtown every few minutes all the way out to Henderson. Combination of working people going/coming to work, a few tourists like me, and a few crazies.īy the way, you don't need to take the Fremont shuttle to Sam's Town unless you just want to. The buses are clean and generally run pretty close to on time. With the exception of one single ride (late at night and the driver was for some reason going out of his way to drive slow) it was really convenient and a pleasure. I actually had a 3-day pass and rode the system everywhere. My last trip to LV in September, I did just what you propose - That is, I bought a bus pass and did all my travel just like a local. My favorite casinos on it are Longhorn, Jokers Wild, and Railroad Pass. Superrupe, you are my kind of traveler!!! I love the Boulder Strip.
